Aneesah Hassan-Bassett is a Hair Stylist, Entrepreneur, and Inventor. She is the owner and also an operator at Salon Azhar (Phila, PA), a Full-Service Hair Salon that offers a holistic approach to hair care.
A twenty year veteran of the Beauty Industry, Aneesah’s passion for hair and beauty was realized at an early age. She graduated from Beauty School in 1997 and embarked on a career as a hair stylist. It was during her initial years as a stylist that Aneesah recognized the importance of studying and treating hair holistically. She quickly built a reputation for “resurrecting hair.”
Aneesah developed a wide range of clientele from all walks of life. Her fascination with hair care and her desire to offer products to women that they could trust and were superior to those on the market, led her to create her own. In 2012, Aneesah launched Salon Azhar’s Oil Therapy. A one of kind hair treatment made from all natural organic ingredients to stimulate growth. Salon Azhar’s oil therapy is still in high demand today. The success of the oil therapy sparked her to further examine the direct correlation between good health and healthy hair. This is how VigӘr was conceived; it is the pronunciation for Vigor which means Strength and good health.
